right after the 2012 election many of the reddest of your red states passed propositions to secede from the union. to which big o basically said "go on. do it. i dare you. just remember that you'll then be responsible for everything yourself. no more federal money for schools, farmers, medicare, roads, disaster relief et cetera et cetera." to which they all uniformly tucked their twig and berries between their legs, put on pretty dresses and did a quick about face. guess they were a little more addicted to that federal dollar than they knew............but i personally wish that just one or two had had the lack of judgement to go through with it. it could have been such a great experiment, not to mention amazing reality tv. to actually watch as a former us state slowly de-evolves into a third world country. they'd be free to do what ever crazy thing they want. drop the minimum wage to 10 cents an hour (right to work and all) and have criminal punishments straight out of the bible. i guess they'd be a little surprised when we start building the wall tho. wouldn't want foreign immigrants coming into our country illegally after all....
